Moli-bank is the ‘treasure’ the Moli-sani project is piling up for future scientific studies about the risk factors for cardiovascular disease and tumours. A high- technology structure containing all the biological samples collected from the participants of the study, stored in liquid nitrogen at 196 centigrade below zero and protected with the most sophisticated technologies.

At the end of the recruitment phase of the Moli-sani project, Moli- bank will contain 700,000 biological samples, ready to be tested in order to explore new ways of Medicine, mainly in the field of prevention.
