A batch of 14 “paillettes”, for each participant to the project, subdivided as follows:
  • 4 containing EDTA plasma (red colour)
  • 3 containing citrated plasma (blue colour)
  • 4 containing serum (yellow colour)
  • 3 containing pellet (green colour), the part of blood that, after centrifugation, is sedimented between plasma (above) and red blood cells (below). This part contains white blood cells, from which it will be possible to extract DNA for future studies.


As mentioned in the “security” chapter, we use two series of 14 pailletes for each participant.
